Is that true that the Glocknerkönig will be cancelled?
No, of course not, but like every year there are false alarms by jokesters or envious people. The Glocknerkönig has never been cancelled. Any information about the event is only valid and credible on this website.

Can I register for the Glocknerkönig on the Saturday or Sunday before the race?
In theory yes, although with a late registration a starting place can not be guaranteed.

Is there a written confirmation of my registration/starting fee payment?
There is not a separate confirmation. However, on our homepage there is a page with the designated start list (currently not active.)
If you can find your name then you are registered and we have received your starter registration fee.

I can prove that I have had top results in other bike races. Therefore I would like to start in the 1st starting block at the Glocknerkönig.
Starting in the 1st start block is only possible for those who completed the Glocknerkönig 2010 or 2011 in under 2 hours. If you can prove good placements in other similar events than a start in the 2nd block is possible, so to say as qualification for the next year. By using the chip-timing system the real race-time is counted. Thus qualification for a good cyclist is possible.

When does the accompaniment bus drive into the valley again?
The bus leaves right after the road is re-opened, at approx. 10:30 it will drive into the valley. If needed there will be more buses if the are full.
