Glocknerkönig LIGHT category

All those who want to save the drive from the village square Bruck to Ferleiten and challenge the calves on a pure altitude tour are exactly right at the Light Glocknerkönig. The route is closed to traffic during the entire tour from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (exception: cars of the organization, road maintenance and blue light emergency organizations).

Glocknerkönig Light – short route

  • No separate start blocks
  • Start from 7.35 a.m. Ferleiten point at 1.145m.
  • Finish Fuschertörl Gedenkkapelle 2.428m.
  • Distance: 12.8 km
  • Maximum gradient: 12%
  • Height difference: 1.283 m

The participants start after the race control car and the first Ultra & Classic participants have passed the checkout.

The same entry fees apply as for the Glocknerkönig Classic. The procedure will take place completely in Bruck (race office, start number collection, clothes transporter, chip return, etc.).

Attention: The participants of the Glocknerkönig Light, who arrive by car to Ferleiten, must be on the way at the latest from 06:45 in Bruck in the direction of the tollgate, because after the start of the Glocknerkönig Classic in Bruck at the village square an approach by car in the direction of Fusch / Ferleiten is no longer possible due to the large field of participants!

Timing: Computer chip timing provided by Fa. Datasport - Switzerland

Note: Our partner Datasport works since this year with the most accurate transponder system on the market.
The timing chip is therefore no longer welded into the race number as before, instead it must be attached to the bike fork.
Chip rental: 5 EUR - chip activation: 50 EUR (refunded after the event).

If the chip is returned by post after the race, 20 EUR will be refunded (processing fee).

Ranking Light: For the first five finishers, the gross time will be taken. Thus, the first five rated according to the order of crossing the finish line (separately in men and women).
From here on the actual (net) time will be taken. The time of each starter is only triggered when crossing the start line.
