Volkshilfe Charity Hill Climb Time Trial
Sporting challenge meets social commitment! As part of the Glocknerkönig, Volkshilfe Salzburg organises the Charity Hill Climb Time Trial. Here, it's not just about achieving a personal best, but above all about coming together to support children and families facing difficult circumstances.
Following its successful premiere in 2026, the Charity Hill Climb Time Trial will return in 2027! Together with Volkshilfe Salzburg, the Tourism Association BRUCK FUSCH | GROSSGLOCKNER and Bike Infection, the event combines a passion for cycling with an important social cause.
Short, steep and for a good cause!
The route starts at Stiegerweg in Bruck and climbs 2.7 kilometres with 250 metres of elevation gain to the Taxhof. A short but demanding ascent that challenges both ambitious cyclists and recreational riders. Whether you're aiming for a personal best or simply enjoying the ride, it's not just about sporting performance, but above all about supporting a good cause.
Every registration makes a difference! The entry fees support projects run by Volkshilfe Salzburg that help children and families affected by poverty. Through the "Tour de Chance" initiative, Volkshilfe is committed to fighting child poverty and creating better opportunities for young people in education, health and leisure activities.
Join us, take on the challenge and make a difference for a good cause!
Kids Parcours – Fun, Movement & Team Spirit
There's plenty of fun for the little ones too! Alongside the Charity Hill Climb Time Trial, a dedicated Kids Parcours will take place right next to the Glocknerkönig race number collection area. On a safe, closed-off circuit, children of all ages can discover the excitement of cycling in a fun and playful way. The focus is on movement, coordination, team spirit and, above all, the joy of cycling. The parcours is supervised by the local cycling club Bike Infection, whose experience ensures a fantastic experience for young cycling enthusiasts.
